Regina's YouTube Videos

Regina Dawn Akers is the scribe of The Holy Spirits Interpretation of the New Testament: A Course in Understanding and Acceptance (NTI). Like A Course in Miracles, NTI was written through a process of inner-dictation. It was given as a gift to everyone who is ready for spiritual awakening now. It leads toward awakening in a loving and gentle manner, guiding us each step of the way. All that is left for us to do is to practice, with our every breath, everything that NTI teaches.

Regina Dawn Akers - What does Holy Spirit sound like? What does Holy Spirit sound like?  - 01:46 min.
A Course in Miracles, Workbook for Students, Lesson 49, says, Gods Voice speaks to me all through the day. But many students of A Course in Miracles feel they cannot hear this Voice.

In this segment, Regina discusses her frustrating experience with Lesson 49, when she also felt she wasn't hearing the Voice, and she tells of the experience that helped her realize she was hearing Gods Voice throughout the day. She simply didn't recognize it.

Regina Dawn Akers - The surrender prayerThe surrender prayer  - 00:38 min.
In this segment, Regina reads the surrender prayer from page 216 in NTI. This prayer is helpful whenever we begin to forget our purpose and find ourselves tempted to take control again.

Regina Dawn Akers - Laying "me" asideLaying "me" aside  - 06:35 min.
In this segment, Regina discusses how all seeming desires roll up into one of two parent desires: 1) the desire to know thy Self, or 2) the desire not to know thy Self. Only one of these desires is a true desire that which we really want and that which can make us perfectly happy. The other is a false desire. It leads us to what we think will make us happy, but when we get there we find that we need to desire something different as we continue to grasp for happiness.

Regina talks about these two desires, helps us to get clear on our deepest, truest desire, and helps us to see how we can remain clear so we are not distracted by false desires.

Regina Dawn Akers - What do I want?What do I want?  - 01:52 min.
In this segment, Regina shares how What do I want? is a question that helps us to remember our purpose of awakening at all times. When we remember that we want to awaken, know only love and be only love, that remembrance guides everything we do, so that we live from the purpose that we have chosen in love.

Regina Dawn Akers - Everything is loveEverything is love  - 02:22 min.
In this segment, Regina describes a mystical experience she had, which taught her that literally, everything is love. Or said another way, God is all there is. This experience taught her to see everything in a new way, as living love, including objects she had previously believed were inanimate. This experience helped Regina understand what Jesus meant when he said, The kingdom of heaven is near. It is right here, within us and all around us, only we do not see it when we believe that everything is something else.

Regina Dawn Akers - Gratitude for freedomGratitude for freedom  - 02:33 min.
NTI teaches that we are perfectly free, and as perfect freedom, no limits are put upon us. Since no limits are put upon us, we are also perfectly innocent.

In this segment, Regina describes a mystical experience that helped her realize the perfection of our freedom and our innocence. In this experience, which seems to be an extreme teaching example, Regina learned there is nothing more valuable than our inherent and perfect unlimited freedom. Regina also learned that it is worthwhile to ask ourselves what we want to do with our freedom. After all, we were given freedom so we could experience love and perfect happiness. If what we are doing with our freedom isn't making us happy, shouldn't we question what we are choosing to do?

Regina Dawn Akers - Fading polka dotsFading polka dots  - 02:07 min.
Peace Pilgrim (www.peacepilgrim.org) was one of Regina's early spiritual influences. Regina was very happy when she discovered the book, Peace Pilgrim: Her Life and Her Work in Her Own Words. She read the book several times. Regina trusted Peace Pilgrim & was deeply inspired by her stories. However, there was one thought that Peace Pilgrim shared that Regina couldn't understand. Peace Pilgrim taught that we are all one.

The idea that we are one was a concept Regina had not heard before. Her experience had never hinted at such a thought before. However, because she trusted Peace Pilgrim, she did not close her mind to the idea. Instead, she seemed to ask herself, How is it possible that we are all one? This opening within her mind led to an experience that taught her the answer to her question.

In this segment, Regina describes her polka dot vision, which came as a symbol to teach her about our oneness. From this vision, she learned that as a person lets go of the belief in individuality, the belief in separateness fades until the I awareness knows itself as one light. This helped Regina to understand that awakening comes by letting go of all ideas that teach us that we are what we are not.

Regina Dawn Akers - WillingnessWillingness  - 03:30 min.
NTI teaches that we are perfectly free, and as perfect freedom, no experience can be given to us unless we are willing to receive it. That includes the experience of awakening to our truth. Therefore, one important practice of awakening is to focus on our willingness and have gratitude for our willingness so that our willingness to awaken increases and becomes full.

NTI Galatians says, Focus on your willingness as if it is your truth, because it is. Focus on your willingness as if it holds the answer to all questions, because it does. Focus on your willingness as if it is everything to everyone, because it is. Focus on your willingness. That is Love Alive within the world.

In this segment, Regina talks about the importance of willingness to the purpose of awakening.

Regina Dawn Akers - NTI Romans, Chapter 2NTI Romans, Chapter 2  - 08:47 min.
A Course in Miracles says, Into eternity, where all is one, there crept a tiny, mad idea, at which the Son of God remembered not to laugh. NTI describes this tiny, mad idea as a question, What if nothing was as it is?

NTI teaches that this metaphysical question is a curiosity, a daydream of exploration and really nothing at all, about which Holy Spirit says, I am very grateful that you have expressed your freedom and explored your wish. Now the curiosity can be let go.

In this segment, Regina shares NTI's teaching of the tiny mad idea from NTI Romans, Chapter 2. We see how the question was expressed as a curiosity, how two possible answers were provided when the question was asked, and how divine mind chose to listen to the idea of fantasy in order to explore its curiosity. We also see that guilt comes from the minds decision to judge itself for the idea. It is important to note, however, that there is no truth to this guilt, because divine mind is free to explore the curious idea and exploration of an idea through fantasy does not change that which is true.

Regina Dawn Akers - I was an appleI was an apple  - 02:47 min.
In this segment, Regina describes a mystical experience during which her I awareness shifted into an apple. Although the experience was brief, it was a valuable teaching tool. Regina learned there is an I that is awareness, but that I is not the body, the personality or the thinking mind. During her experience as an apple, Regina experienced the interaction of love with love (or light with light), which helped her to realize that everything is made up of light and all that is is love.
