Regina Dawn Akers was meditating on “Forgiveness offers everything I want” when her phone rang. As she listened to the voice on the other end of the line, Regina knew that all of her dreams were about to come crashing down. She also knew that she had two choices. She could be hurt and suffer, or she could use this circumstance to choose to learn forgiveness. She chose the latter.
